check it out ...

Check out the A Muse website! The brand-spanking-new holiday releases are finally up for all to see! There are so many favorites, it'd take me forever to list 'em all ... so go check 'em out! *laugh* You'll love 'em! (But be sure you don't miss Julie's boyfriend, Boris *giggle* and his whacky jars of ingredients!!!)

And how cool is that photo! All those stamps looked so pretty in my studio as I got ready for a*muse*a*palooza that I just HAD to take a photo or two! Too much fun!

Still suffering through the heatwave ... until tomorrow! I'm off to bed! Night!

circles are fun ...

Circle punches and polka dots on anything (paper, ribbon, brads, etc.) ... I can't get enough! I mean, come on! Just look at that cute little black and white polka-dotted brad! How could you NOT love it? *laugh*

And speaking of lovin' things ... today was a WAY cool mail day! Have you seen Doodlebug Designs sequins??? Oh my goodness, if you haven't ... go now, run, check them out! They are SO pretty! I can't wait to share some designs using them with you! And ... my first Stampin Up order showed up today! Oh my goodness! I can't wait to play with all the pretty new stamps!

Images and cardstock by A Muse, brad by Queen & Co., circle punches and ink by Stampin Up, and (you guessed it) black ribbon from my stash!

monograms ...

I'm lovin' all the monogram stuff in the crafty world these days ...

special delivery ...

The scalloped rectangle from A Muse (one of the a*muse*a*palooza releases) is one of my favorites. Why? I think it's a really versatile stamp. I think it' works so well as as a US postage stamp (just hand letter the postage amount!) It's the background for the 'boo' card a few posts back too. I also think you could use it as a rug under one of the cute A Muse furniture stamps! So many ideas, so little time!

tee hee hee ...

Man, oh man ... it's HOT here. And in a country where AC is not common ... whew, it's gettin' old! I hope it's cooler where you are (or at least that you're inside a nice, chilly AC-filled house)! Despite the sticky weather, my friends Emily and Kristen and I still managed to work on a couple of projects today.

It's always fun to work on stuff together, but today we actually got stuff DONE! It was great! Kristen was making a birthday card ...

and Emily had a great idea for boxes! Not only did Kristen finish her birthday card and gift boxes, but Emily designed her Christmas cards (and this from that gal that thinks stamping is too girlie)! *laugh*

Hee hee ... it makes me happy to see my friends having fun stamping!

To counter the icky hot weather (can you tell I'm preoccupied by the temperature? *laugh*) ... I've gotten awesome things by post!!! A goodie box from my mom filled with halloween ribbon (I love, love, love ribbon ... and she feeds my addiction on an almost bi-weekly basis! Thanks, Mom!) and a cute LITTLE pink Heidi Swapp iron! I'm not sure what I'll use it for yet ... but wow, is it cute! *smile*

And if that wasn't enough, new goodies from A Muse showed up today too! Yippee! Man, just when I thought I was done with cool stampin' secrets for a bit ... another way cool something shows up from A Muse! Stay tuned ... you're gonna' love this too! So on to today's card ... another Halloween card today ... but gosh, wouldn't he be cute for a dinner party or New Year's Eve party invitation too? Hmmm ... I wish there were enough hours in the day to get all these ideas to paper! *laugh*

This was such an easy card too! I colored the jar of spiders (there are three jars on the stamp - take a peek at the Boris card from a few days back to see all three) and eyeballed it's placement on the tray. I watercolored the butler guy, used Crystal Effects on the glass (looks so fun in person), and stamped on the greeting! SO easy! Gotta' love that! I think this would be GREAT for a Halloween party invite!

more polka-dot alphabet ...

... and more cute brad spiders! Made those by inking up just a portion of the A Muse stamp with all the spiders hanging from webs and then adding a brad! So easy ... I just love it!

This is another card from my polka-dot alphabet stamping frenzy! And thanks to Sarah, by way of Julie, it's confirmed that it is indeed the "small lowercase," not the large! (Just in case anyone else was looking for this one on the A Muse website!) See what I mean about stamping anything you want? Soooo great!

Ok, I'm going to go back to willing my first Stampin Up order from the new catalog to show up! *wink* I'm going crazy thinking about the pretty new ink colors and stamps that aren't here yet!!! *laugh*

spooky ...

You know why I love alphabet stamps? Because I can stamp whatever I want to say with them! The possibilities are endless! Just think about it ... see ... I told ya'! *wink*

I'm definitely gonna' be stamping some "Merry" cards for the holidays and "happy" cards for birthdays! Heck, you could even pair it up with one of the "flexible phrase" sets from Stampin Up! So dang cute! And SO many possibilities!

i love halloween ...

I think I could stamp Halloween cards all year long! Between all the new A Muse goodies and the new SU sets that are flying through the air in my direction as I type ... I'm all wound up for Halloween stamping this year. Yay! =)

amuseapalooza sneak peek ...

I told ya' we'd get back to more Christmas images.

I'm a big fan of this little reindeer dude! Isn't he just the cutest? Especially with a shiny red nose!

The background was easy to make too! I simply used a square punch and some nifty A Muse tags and Voila! Background! *smile*

amuseapalooza sneak peek ...

Yes, yes ... back to Halloween!

Isn't that masquerade mask just the coolest? I love it! I stamped it multiple times on one of A Muse's polka dotted tags, punched it out, and put it under another new A Muse item - the large, clear Creative Candy sticker! Perfect fit ... love that! The raven is part of another new image: that one has three spooky critters on it! Gah ... so many fun new Halloween things! Just wait until you see them all ... it's killing me! (Have I mentioned I like Halloween???)
