scrapbook in a bag class ...

I'm a bad blogger, but look! An update! *wink*

As some of you know I'm on the road again (thanks for the emails too, it's nice to be missed)! In the meantime, here's a little something I've been working on!

A sneak peek at one of my upcoming classes: a Spooky Scrapbook in bag!

I'm teaching this on 19 October! Once in the afternoon and once in the evening! I'm hoping to see lots of my local readers! Email me more if you're interested in signing up or for more details! And hey ... if you're not local, feel free to hop a plane and come on by! *wink*

EDIT: The evening session is full, but I still have seats in the afternoon!

avast ye land lubbers ...

I've returned! And that's right ... it's International Talk Like a Pirate Day. (And no, Linda, it's not a Heather-Only holiday!) *wink*

It was a weekend of pirate-y goodness for us ...

How did you guys celebrate?! You *did* celebrate, right? *wink*

Are those not the cutest cupcake toppers ever!? I love that pirate ship! And these were just too easy. Emily and I turned out about 70 of the cute little buggers in under an hour! (And what I don't have photos of are the nearly 200 napkins she stamped with the "ahoy matey" stamp I used on the card up there!

And speaking of the card up there ... it's one of my favorites! The scallop stamp works so well for so many things! And in this case ... for water! How cool is that? I think it would be a great, simple birthday party invite, don't you?

All images and cardstock on the card are by A Muse! The pirate ship on the cupcake topper is by A Muse as well ... cardstock by Stampin Up.

a*muse gala event ...

Have you guys heard about the A*Muse grand gala opening of their retail outlet yet?!?! If not, ya' gotta' check it out! . I SOOOO wish I could be there too! But if you're in the area (or like to travel) ... wow! So much fun!

Life is busy, busy lately, but I haven't forgotten about you guys! More designs coming soon! I'm knee-deep in Halloween and Pirate goodness! That's right, I said Pirate-goodness ... ya'll know Talk Like a Pirate Day is Tuesday, right?!?! Are you prepared? *wink*

spooky house ...

I am SO in the mood for fall and all the cool autumnal things that come with it! Especially Halloween! Isn't this Haunted House just the coolest? I stamped the background with a Spectrum pad in oranges. If you don't have a Spectrum Ink Pad, no worries ... use colors you have, inking your image with the lightest color first! No problem! I stamped the moon, punched it out, and mounted it to the card with dimensionals! Easy peasy! This card was so stinkin' fast, I just can't tell ya'!

I still had a few ideas for this same general layout ... so I kept going!

The more I look at this one, the more I think it needs *somethin* ... a greeting? Ribbon? Hmm ... gotta' think about that one more, but I do love the color! I still have a few ideas spinning for this layout ...

I had hoped to try to flesh out those ideas over the weekend, but we had some house projects to tackle that have been sorely neglected. We tackled them though ... and wow, do I feel good about it!

All images and cardstock by A Muse, ink by Stampin Up, glitter on purple card by Stampin' Up and adhered with a Xyron machine!

'tis the season ...

... well, almost. *wink* 'Tis the season to at least start THINKING about the season. *laugh* Have you started thinking about what to do for your holiday cards yet? It's the perfect time to start 'em too since by December none of us will feel like we have the time! *laugh*

Getting things done early also means you could send your cards to Noel, Missouri to be marked with a special Christmas Postmark! I did it last year and thought it was pretty darn cute (of course, when family and friends received their holiday cards postmarked from MI USA they were a bit confused! *laugh*)! Check out the Noel, MI website for more info!

frankie ...

Hey! Just a quick note to say hello! I'm feeling tons better (thanks for all the emails and comments wishing me to feel better! I do, so looks like all your well wishes worked! *wink*)!

And literally the day after I really started feelimg human again I was out the door to Switzerland and Venice (and have nearly 2000 images to wade through and edit)! *Whew* That's gonna' be a task and a half! But I still plan to find time to stamp. I've already been in my studio this week and can't wait to do more! This is my favorite time of year to stamp!

This is another easy Halloween card ... I love the Halloween images from A Muse. They're SO fun and funky!

All cardstock, images, and clear Creative Candy sticker by A Muse, ink by Stampin Up, and brads by Queen & Co.
