flutterbys ...

Started a new Ali Edwards/Lolly Chops inspired project today using these punches from Martha ...

I'm halfway through, but had to stop to refocus on things like laundry, making dinner, and some other crafty things I'm not able to share with you ... yet.  *wink*  But I'm hoping to have it finished later tonight.

We had another weekend of weird weather: blizzard conditions Thursday and Friday and nice and sunny today.  Dave worked from home during the worst of it and I cooked and crafted, watched Twilight, and pretty much just enjoyed the snowed-in-ness.

one more amuse-bouche ...

One more - so that means tonight's the night!  If you haven't already picked these beauties up in your local shop, they'll be available online tonight (www.amuseartstamps.com) at midnight EST!

See ya' then!

amuse-bouche: open zinnia

You can prolly guess that the zinnia is one of my favorite new stamps from new release, eh?  (And that I still love an orange and blue color combo.  *laugh*)  But ... check out the open zinnia!   The two work SO well together!  The open zinnia is slightly smaller and open for coloring (or not - I think it's really pretty either way)!

For a little depth I cut and popped up the solid zinnia and drew in a couple of stems with a black fine-line marker.

amuse-bouche ...

It's time for a little Love Blooms amuse-bouche!

Amuse-bouche, you ask?  We thought we'd change things up a little bit, have a little fun: it's French and basically, means a little appetizer!  It's the perfect name for an A Muse sneak peek, don't ya' think?

This next release, Love Blooms, is filled with versatile images - you're just gonna' flip!  (And a few new papers to boot!)

These images are already showing up in your local shops, but if you haven't found them there, you can find them at www.amuseartstamps.com on 25 March!

And yes ... I'm back to blogging.  At least attempting to be.  *laugh*

While I've been away from blogging  the last month, we moved into a new house and I cracked my tailbone and was "laid up" in the middle of it all for a few weeks.  But ... things are calming down, I'm playing catch-up, and trying to get back to crafting regularly - which means another amuse-bouche very soon!
